Beaches along South Florida are taken over by sharks following schools of migrating fish, and closed to swimmers every year at this time, this video documents over one thousand sharks in the waters off Singer Island.

That’s an insane amount of sharks!!!!! I didn’t know that many came so close to the US coast. I can probably never go to the beach in Florida now….

I’ve swam at this beach a million times! I used to work at the Hilton on Singer Island for almost two years, and this was the beach I would go to when I lived in West Palm Beach (it was the closest) I lived there for about 4 years! I remember another time this happened, it’s so crazy!
